Our VSOP Castarede is a blend of Armagnacs at least 10 years old. This Armagnac has an amber topaz robe with bronze tints. Its nose is mellow with walnut, warm spices, cocoa and prunes stone. The palate is unctuous and reminds us of the above nose flavors with an extraordinary sensation of freshness.

A very nice example of an armagnac dry and complex. Casterède is a historic Armagnac producer now run by sixth generation Florence. The VSOP is aged for eight years, twice the legal minimum, and is fruity and lightly spicy with notes of coconut, walnut and honey. The spiced aroma suggests allspice, vanilla and nutmeg. The palate feels super light, opening with an herbaceous lilt that gives way to mouthwatering honey and vanilla, tapering off on hints of cedar, orange peel and clove.
